New edition of the First-Level University Master's program "I Disturbi dell’Alimentazione: l'esordio in età evolutiva, la diagnosi, le comorbilità e i percorsi di cura" promoted by the Accademia delle Scienze della Nutrizione – ASNU, in collaboration with Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna, for the 2026/2027 academic year.
The Master's degree aims to provide advanced skills for the effective management of patients with Eating Disorders (ED), through an integrated, up-to-date clinical approach.
The teaching will focus on an in-depth exploration of the clinical management of EDs, with particular attention to onset during developmental age, with the aim of providing learners with tools for early diagnosis, assessment of comorbidities, understanding of the needs of the patient and family, and the development of a multidimensional treatment plan.

The call for applications for the new edition is available on the Unibo portal.
- Responding to the complex and changing care needs for a timely and personalised care of ED patients, with particular reference to developmental onset;
- Deepen and share organisational, clinical and psycho-relational tools in different settings (outpatient, hospital and residential-rehabilitation), with both adult and paediatric users;
- Promoting a multidisciplinary approach to the ED clinic, including through the creation of a network of professionals including lecturers and students.
Admission is limited to a maximum of 30 participants with a degree in:
- Medicina e Chirurgia (LM-41);
- Professioni Sanitarie, Infermieristiche e Professione Sanitaria Ostetrica (L/SNT1);
- Professioni Sanitarie della Riabilitazione (L/SNT2);
- Professioni Sanitarie Tecniche (L/SNT3);
- Scienze e Tecniche Psicologiche (L-24);
- Scienze del Servizio Sociale (L-39).
Registration with the relevant Italian professional association or register is required.
Admission to the Master’s program is subject to an evaluation of the Curriculum Vitae et Studiorum and to passing an oral examination, aimed at assessing candidates’ aptitudes, personal motivations, and interpersonal skills.
Classes for the Master’s program are held at Fondazione Alsos, in the hills of Bologna. The Foundation’s venue is an ideal setting for study, training, and professional exchange. Its facilities include classrooms, teaching equipment, accommodation options, and a canteen for meals.
The program takes place over two years and provides a total of 60 university credits (CFU).
- Classroom-based Teaching (43 CFU – 215 hours)
Classroom-based teaching includes lectures, seminars, expert meetings, round tables, role-playing, and group work. Classes are held one weekend a month, on Friday (9 am – 6 pm) and Saturday morning (9 am – 1 pm). At least 80% attendance is required to obtain the Master’s degree. - Field Training (12 CFU)
Field training takes place at facilities within the Emilia-Romagna Regional Network for Eating Disorders, as well as at the leading national reference centers.
The registration fee for the Master’s course is Euro 4,000.
Grants are available for the course of study and will be awarded based on a ranking system considering both income and merit.
